Thanks Whizlabs for such an excellent product. It really helped me a lot for my achievement. The questions are bit tougher, trickier than the real exam. But this forced me to study intensely which helped me in the final exam. I believe who scores an average of 80% in the Whizlabs simulator should score 90+% in the real exam. It has over 150 revision tips, which are perfect for the last night review. I'll suggest all who are preparing for the SCJP should take a look on Whizlabs Simulator.
Certainly I'll buy the SCWCD exam simulator from Whizlabs.

Hi !
I passed the 310-035 with 88% on 2003-06-17.
....Other important mock exam I took is the Whizlabs.com test. It simulates the real SCJP version 1.4, and you can change the number of questions, time and type of question (multiple choice, etc).
It´s important to take the mock test and correct EACH question after the test (and not only check the score), so you can see your weaker and stronger points. read more>

I am too much happy today, on the TOP OF THE WORLD. Met my and all of yours expectations. Scored 96%.
SCWCD tool at Whizlabs was a great help. It met my expectations. The best part i liked was, the proportion and style of questions almost matched the actual exam. read more>

Hi all,
I have studied the various notes and comments posted on this forum for about 3 weeks now and am considering purchasing the Whiz Labs mock exam simulator.
I used Whiz Labs to help me pass the SCWCD exam and it was excellent.
Does anyone have any opinion on whether the architect version is as useful, or are the free exams adequate preparation?
Any feedback gratefully received,
Julia

Just to let you know: I passed the test, scoring 86%. Your test engine was definately a help, together with the SCWCD Study Kit.
Only comment is that the questions in your tests appeared to be a bit tougher than in the real thing (I made 60-74% in the tests I ran before the real one)
Keep up the good work,
PS: Everyone knows there are bugs in SW. It is easier to live with when the SW company is as responsive as you.

Dear WhizLab people,
I would like to thank for the SCWCD product !
I completed my SCWCD 2 weeks ago with 91% ...

Hi Wizlabs Team,
Though i downloaded the demo version of ur exam simulator for SCWCD exam, and only limited features were enabled in it. But the kind of step by step (Procedural) training level ur simulator provides is really worth praising. It seems to be a very good product.
Thanx for developing such a nice product and making available it's demo version.
Keep it up.

....For prep,
i started with mark cade book and whizlabs tests..
after doing tests, i realized i need to go more deep in each subject matter. So i came back to Allen book. Though i was trying to avoid that book, but i had to read it, got pretty much concepts clear. Gotta need patience to read that book. They got good Self Test Questions. So mainly I was juggling b/w whizlabs practice tests and Allen book. Two days before test, I was totally devoted to whizlabs to iron out any weakness. Whizlabs helps you to find ur weakness, not real test questions. My preparation over subject matter, helped me sailed through....read more>

Hi all,
....I started preparation by using WhizLabs [7] to identify my weaknesses, then studied related topics with [2,3,4,5,6]. I used Cade's book to summarize knowledge gained, and practiced scenario-based questions with WhizLabs. I would say that WhizLabs's questions are more difficult than the exam's questions, especially the scenarios. However, make sure that you understand the topics, understand how to analyze situations, not just remember answers provided by WhizLabs. A day before taking test, I reviewed the objectives going through the notes [4,5,6] once again. Of course, follow this forum and study from your discussions here was a big advantage (though this is just my first post ).
Overall, I have spent about 2 months with 2-3hours/day to prepare for the test.... read more>

Hi there,
I would like to take opportunity to thank your SCEA Product team for my success at SCEA part-1 exam. I have cleared this exam with 91%. Your mock exam simulator helped me a lot. Keep up the good work.

....I have to say that the OOAD@Whiz was a wonderful product, even at the fairly high purchase price. Not only did it get me comfortable with having to go back and forth between the fair number of exhibits, but it was actually harder than the real exam....
…This isn't to say that the exam is easy - I think I only did so well because I made myself panic about how poorly I was doing in the OOAD@Whiz tests, and consequently made myself sick studying the books over, and over, and over again.

Hi,
I have passed the IBM Test 486 exam recently with the score 77%.
There were 56 questions and the duration was 135mins.
Most of the questions were complex and tricky.
OOAD@Whiz software helped me a lot in test preparation in addition to 'IBM's sample test', 'UML Distilled 2nd edition' and 'Applying UML and Patterns'.
I am happy that I could clear the test in the first attempt itself, even though 77% is not a very good score.
Thank You So Much for such wonderful software.
Best Regards,

I just passed yesterday - 91%! - and I'd credit OOAD@Whiz with raising my score a good 15%. Using an exam simulator is a MUST for effective revision to pass this sort of exam, and OOAD@Whiz is the only tool for the job. Well, in fact at the moment it looks like the only tool at all on the market...
I found the detailed feedback and the ability to generate a history report of my previous tests very helpful indeed.

Dear Whizkids,
I am the user of your products WebLogicWhiz and WebSphereWhiz. Its because of your products only that I could secure a very score in my certifications. It would not have been possible without your products.
I really found them to be of great value. I was amazed to find the similarity of your questions with the questions I faced in the actual exam. The explanations proviede by you were of great help and the customization featurs helped me a lot during my preparation.
I will definitely come back to you when i sttart preparing for xml certification and have recommended your products to all my colleagues.
I found 1-2 spelling/grammatical mistakes which i have mailed you to [email protected]. One suggestion : It would be nice to have some kind of tutorial (not a detailed one but a concise and crispy tutorial on j2ee stuff).
Thank you guys for great help.
Yours sincerely

Hi,
....Whizlabs (really a help if you don’t expect the same questions on the exam. It helped me to discover lots of weak parts of my knowledge and the explanations are good)…….
- ….Those are mostly those „scenario based questions“ which are quite good investigated yet. Look article of Pradeep Chopra, or the question assembled by Ajith Kallambella in Javaranch mocks. Even better is to use Whizlabs exam simulator. You’ll get to know the tricks with the time.
Whizlab convinced me to occupy myself with some important details a second and a third time.read more>

I bought 3 of your OCP DBA simulators for my training session on Jan 8, 2003. I used them throughout my training for 20 days for my batch of 13 students. All of the participants practiced through all the mock tests and the results were outstanding; for the first time we’d 100% pass rate. The average score in the actual exam is 88% and in your tests it was around 81%.
We were amazed at the quality of the explanations both in terms of breadth and depth. Also we found customization feature to be very useful especially for 3 of our students who were not able to move ahead in few topics.
I look forward to see more of 9i simulators from you and wish you success.
Thankyou

Hi, I passed my exam today with 81%
My preperation:
1) K&B - Book
This was the most important part of my preparation. IMHO there is all in the book you need to know for passing the exam, providing that you also work with the test question within the book and the MasterExam questions on CD.
Moreover I enjoyed reading the book very much. Thanks to Kathy and Bert!
2) Whizlabs
I got the Whizlabs mock exam one week before the exam. I was very frustrated then because these questions were much harder than K&B.
You learn some interessing things but again: I think for passing the exam K&B is a good choice.
And certainly: thanks to all the nice people here!!
Bye.... read more>
