IBM (J2EE) Certification Exam Preparation |
IBM (J2EE) Certification (Exam 483) |
|
|
J2EE technologies define the standard for developing distributed enterprise applications. By providing simplicity, portability, scalability and legacy integration, J2EE provides a rock solid foundation for the development of enterprise solutions. While Sun was the inventor of Java and pioneered its use for enterprise services, the J2EE standard represents collaboration between IT industry leaders across the globe.
"Enterprise Connectivity (with J2EE) certification", a vendor neutral exam offered by IBM is aimed at enterprise developers who develops, deploys and administers distributed enterprise applications using J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) technologies. Along with the growing importance of J2EE technology, the acceptance for this exam has grown continuously.
One of the less-appreciated values of any IT certification exam is the experience itself. Studying for this exam is a very structured way to learn about the complexities of various J2EE technologies, which is quite different from the day-to-day programming experience. Clearing the exam will increase your knowledge, skill and confidence about your competency of the J2EE technologies. The following exams offered by Sun are considered closer to this exam by IBM:
SCWCD (Sun Certified Web Component Developer)
SCEA (Sun Certified Enterprise Architect)
The advantage offered by this J2EE certification exam over SCWCD is the presence of one of the important J2EE technologies (i.e. EJBs) in the curriculum, which is missing in the case of SCWCD. While SCEA is primarily targeted at J2EE Enterprise Architects, this exam is mainly aimed at J2EE Enterprise Developers.
If you are serious about making a career in J2EE domain, it is one of the important certification you should be looking for. The value offered by this exam makes every effort (time and money) useful. |

Thank you guys for your wonderful J2EE certification exam simulator. I failed the exam in my first attempt without it. I wish I could have purchased it earlier. Neways, it doesn't mean anything now.
I am planning for my next certification. Which of the two: WebSphere/WebLogic will you suggest.
Like some of your products it would be nice to have Quiz feature. Also please do add "Next" button to it in your next release.
