Tara,

Thanks for the link, depsite my frustrations yesterday, I calmed down and went back to the Todd Lammle book and despite the flaws managed to make some sense of the whole subject. However I did find the test examples on that site you gave me very helpful at actually showing what I do know.

Thanks again

Simon

Dear Sunny,
Oei Mere Sher, tushi Toh kamal kar di? Saved 30 Pounds? with that you can buy Gurdas Maan,Dahlere Mehendy,Rupkumar Rathodr & Sukhbindar Sing and have a good time? For study you can go through chapter by chapter, under stand the consept? try to answer the question at each chapter and make sure you record the note.Mandatory chapteres are:
1.ISDN, 2. Frame Relay, 3.PPP, 4.VLAN, 5.Router (components & Initialization,Commands ) 6. Lan Switching, 7. Access Control List, 8. Cable, 9.OSI Layer, 10.WAN & WAN Protocol, 11.Subnetting, 12.Binary Conversion Etc.
Your baby simulator is good enough even for CCNP.
All the best for the good study!

Hello Tara,

I have read a lot of your posts and really appreciate all the effort you put in.

I have been studing for CCNA 607 for six months now and will be taking the test in 2 days.
I have used the cisco training materials and router sim's to prepare.
Could I have access to your resources as well?

Wish you well

Kiddah Tara

As a beginners book what would you recommend :
1)Cisco : A Beginner's Guide
by Toby J. Velte, Anthony T. Velte OR

2)CCNA for Dummies Ron Gilster ??

Please tell me :CCNA for Dummies Ron Gilster is a better book i have just bought it. But on amazon they really knock it compared to Cisco : A Beginner's Guide book.

Also is the ESIM and Sybex baby virtual lab sim enough to practice on to pass CCNA? im not convinced , everyone talks about router sim and boson sim ?

Dear sunny,
It seems that you are on buying spree? Here is a little story for you? Where someone thought he could talk about Anyone, Anyone thought he may talk to No One, No One thought its good idea to talk to everyone? Where as Everyone talk any thing available on this earth? So don't listen to everyone? They don't have anything good except Talk! Talk! Talk and Talk until someone like you talk about them.
Listen to your heart? Shriff maan ki suno, just read what ever you bought, no more buying? Your sybex simulator is good enough for CCNA, Any thing more you want, go to the library and borrow?

Hi Tara,

Thanks I understand what your saying. I have some general questions :

1)What do you think is the best compliment course with CCNA . Would it be something that is non vendor specific such as A +?
(I dont have much technical exposure to IT )

I guess i wanna know can you get into a networking job without going through desktop job route?

2)Also i have come across this :
http://www.delmar.edu/Courses/download/

Is it possible todownload from this site?
Anyone tried it..theres a sim and other materials ?

Dear Sunny,
After CCNA you can always complement it with Two Aplus paper to have an edge over others as its an industry recognized certification by Compitia.Or you can channel your energy towards MCSA, MCSE or CCNP even the better choice, but at present I advise you to concentrate in your study rather than creating a roaming profile around the web site for better material. Or else You will be
