Just got my CCNA, not too difficult..
I want to get on with CCNP now, but I'm not sure what to use:
The books from Cisco seem to cover everything, but that is also the problem: they cover everything in such a detail that it is hard to understand (english is not my native language so that is a bit of a setback). I can manage but the Cisco books are so dry reading I hardly see myself dealing with these telephone books and leaning them by heart..
- sybex books are maybe more readeble but do they cover the subjects needed?
I want to get a very good understanding of the topics don't get me wrong, but isn't there a published form wich is more digestable for me than the cisco ones or is it better to bit the bullet and buy them anyway?
Anyone who has info on good books let me know as I've to choose which the use..
-Cisco CCNP Certification Library (4 Book Box Set) -- by Clare Gough
-Cisco CCNP Preparation Library (4-Volume Set) -- by Diane Teare
-CCNP Study Guide Kit (With CD-ROMs) -- by Todd Lammle
If anyone wants to team up and become a study-buddy, just let me know. It's nice to have someone to talk to..
