If you add the following you will be able to ping from your outside interface and receive replies back on that interface. icmp permit any echo-reply outside icmp permit any source-quench outside icmp permit any unreachable outside icmp permit any time-exceeded outside You can use the "show icmp" command to view the current settings. If you are using PDM to manage the firewall you will find these settings under "System Properties" tab > "Pix Administration" >ICMP.
