whew, I passed the core exam by 1 question. It was harder than I thought. (Or maybe I got the hardest version) I passed the OS in no time. Thanx for your help

Greetings!

I am a "newly-crowned" (for lack of a better term) network analyst, and need to start preparing for CCNA 640-607. I also could use some prep for N+.

I have taken a networking fundamentals course, so I am not really starting from ground zero...but I could definitely use some help.

If anyone here can give me some tips on what to study, where to study it, and what to expect (I'm scared with the new 607 test instead of the 507!), please advise.

The exam is nothing to be scared of. There are 50 questions of which 48 are the same as the previous 640-507 exam. The answers are not hard
the interpretation of the questions being asked is the problem area. do plenty of mock exams such as the questions supplied by this site. also with both Todd Lammle and wendell Odom's books there are CD's supplied which have mock exams, and are very useful. As you know have a position, borrow a laptop and a router and practice as per Todd Lammle's book. This will enable you to deal with the 2 simulation questions.

hey aqua i am have already postponned my exam once man this time i am giving it on 17th of next month. can u give me some tips for the new 607 exam and can reccomend some site where i can get some similar questions like exam...so that i can get used to the system.

Hi Aquasilk529, I failed the CCNA on Monday with a 758. I've been studying since December studying with Sybex and Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices. I really need some questions and answers if possible. I did terrible on the ip subnetting part. The test had 7 questions on it. Hi Aquasilk,

I havent got much technical experience but know general IT terminology as I work for an IT helpdesk and have a IT degree(non technical) and am keen to start studying towards CCNA.
I have spent last couple of weekends on the web trying to locate some good sites that really break the technical knowledge down for a beginner and no luck - i was very surprised !
I have joined a few forums so hopefully will get positive responses.
I also know that sharing knowledge is vital - its a good motivator and things can get cleared up quickly.
I have a 5 day(1st - 5th July) tutor led CCNA course next week.
I want to aim for passing the exam by the end of July.

Please send me as much info as you can regarding .
I would like to know how you think i should proceed from here?
I think I need to get a router sim - any ideas?
What exam prep are you using - questions paper?
How are you planning your own study?
Any one got a CCNA memory sheet?
Ant good study guides on net?
How do you study daily?
