Tara,

I've been reading your postings here and think it's wonderful all the help you are offering. I've taken and failed with a 786 the Cisco exam. I couldn't get past the router sim troubleshooting question. I understand subnetting, but just can't recall correctly how to assign the ip addresses to the interfaces. At least, I think that was my issue. I would really appreciate your help in this area. Also where can I find the color coding sequence for the wires--I can't find them in my notes or in the text.

Get ESIM by Cisco press. It has a simulator which is what you need to at least have to prep for the sims on the exam. It also comes with practice questions and PICTURES, which includes the order for which types of cable, and a lot more.
