Hi there,

Thank you for supplying a lot of sample questions for ccna.

A Couple of questions seemed a little unfair.

33. What class of IP address provide the least number of hosts?
Your answer Class B is wrong. The correct answer is Class D

I picked B, but the answer was D.

Class D is used for multicasts and cannot contain any hosts. So B is the Lowest that can contain Hosts.

26. Which best defines a MAC?
Your answer It is the Data Link Layer address of a NIC that can be modified is wrong. The correct answer is It is the Data Link Layer address of a NIC that can not be modified

It is in fact possible to overide the MAC Address of a network card with a software one.

38. You want the text, ‘You are connected’ to display when the command ‘show interface serial 0’ is entered. What command will enable this?
Your answer #description You are connected is wrong. The correct answer is description You are connected

I would have presumed the # was correct, as the prompt would show router(config-if) followed by a #

These are the only 3 questions i managed to get wrong. I am sitting my ccna in a couple of weeks and would very much appreciate if you could reply with your comments.

Thank you in advance,

Niall Pickard
