Joth You all have great amount of info for CCNA, which I past on Feb 16th, but I was looking for info, and practice test on the CCDA, and just general info. So I hope more people will reply here. I planning to take the test with in the next 4 weeks while I have CCNA info in my head.

tcsris I´ll take exam 640-441 in one or to two weeks
I´ll post some fresh and real information on it .

Joth Well found some info on he net and using boson software to study for it. I got the todd lame book for the CCDA, the cd that comes with it is not that great for practice test. But Boson software is great you just down load it and get test it (12) questions and then pay for it (29.00) If well I am taken the test this coming Saturday so wish me luck.

Joth Well just pass the CCDA test this past saturday 3/17; I need a 755 to pass and got 795. I found it alot harder then CCNA; the reason might be because I only took 3 weeks to prepare and take it. But I would say a good 1/2 of the test was reading case studies and answering questions about it.

I think getting boson software was a defiantly help. Also I thought the edge software wasn't all that great, but after taken the test, it does help alot. Well on to the CCNP routing.

sherm74 I am about to take the CCNA and CCDA test in the same week. I enrolled in a boot camp. What are some of the differences between the test. What is the web site where I can get some practice test? Thanks

Joth I would say the main difference in the test are the case studies, and the number of them. If you got Todd Lammle book for the CCDA it helps prepare you well for it. Also I would recommend take the CCNA first then a week later take the CCDA if you already studied for both. Also the CCDA touches on OSPF; which will help later when you take CCNP Routing.

As to practice test. I just use edge test software, and materials in the CCNA book by Todd Lammle. Finally I use this sites questions which are great.

As to the CCDA practice test I think it is would be good to download one of Boson software, in addition what came with the CCDA book by Todd Lammle.

vacubs I just passed the CCDA with a 912. I used 3 tools to study:

1)- DCN Coursebook - Cisco Press
2)- CCDA Exam Guide - Cisco Press
3)- Boson Practice Tests

The exam is nothing to take for granted. I recommend taking the CCNA first. Be prepared for several case studies as well.

ciscoios12 Learn the material well. That is the best advice that anyone can give. I just passed the CCDA exam yesterday. It was pretty tough. I still have a headache. But it was not that bad. I have my CCNP, so the non-scenario questions were easy. The scenario questions made me think. Thinking is hard. :)
