If you all are studying for the ccnp then you must have passed the ccna. Would you recommend Cisco Press over Cybex for ccna study guides?

Some Qs in the exam seemed worded just as they it had been described in Sybex ,CCNA by Todd Lammle .I found it better than even the student book I got along with my course .Ofcourse ,someone else cd have a diff opinion .All The Best .

Hi Ricky.
I personally like to by three different publishers and use them in conjuction with each other. It may seem redundant, but I have found that each book is typically easier to read or more detailed on certain topics, and by using three different publishers I gain the strengths of each.
I used this method to pass both the CCNA 2.0 and the CCDA exams on the first try.
Anyway, the publishers I use are: Ciscopress, Sybex, and Syngress Media/McGraw Hill.

I used Cisco Press 1st and 2nd yr companion guides and made an 892. I used no other resourse.

Definitely a good idea to have more than one source of info. But it's a fairly easy test. But if you're new to the field, definitely get more than one. If you can get 2, do Sybex and Cisco Press.
