I have registered for CCNA exam which I am going on take on 31st May.
I am studying from the Cisco Press CCNA 2.0 Certification Guide by Wendell Odom.
In the book he has always stated to remember the standards for everything like WAN Interface Standards by EIA 232,449,532, etc.
Do we need to remember all the standards for everything by heart for the exam?
Can they put up a question asking what is the standard for DDR signaling or for ISDN Q Series WAN Interface, etc, etc?
Thanks

I hate those Cisco Press books, on any *press* books for that matter, they dont really teach you, they act more as a reference guide.

Some standards are on the test. The practice tests that come with the book are a good guide to which ones you need to know. I used the same book and had no problems.
