Working as a Site Incharge of Facilities management team(24*7) to provide complete support of IT resources at one of our prime client location and is responsible for the following jobs:-
Administration of Servers-Windows NT(4.0),Lotus Notes(5.0).
Providing support to users to troubleshoot problems on operating systems like Windows NT/ 95/98/2000,application software like Ms-Office 97/2000,Ms-Outlook,Internet browsers,antivirus softwares,RAS,IIS,PWS etc.
Network administration-LAN &WAN including support of local network and also internet and ISDN dial-up connections.Resolving client calls related to TCP/IP,WINS,DNS,DHCP,RAS,VPN etc.
Basic hardware troubleshooting and escalating calls to respective vendors if necessary on PC,Laptops,HP Printers,networking equipments etc.
Performance monitoring, fine tuning and upgradation of Servers and Network.
Escalation of unresolved issues to proper authorities for timely resolution within restricted timeframe by regular follow ups.
Asset Management:Responsible for keeping track and proper maintenance of all IT related assets(Hardware and Software) of the client.
Virus Management:Responsible to keep the network virus free by implementing antivirus software(Mcafee) with latest update in every systems.
Monitor resolution of all user calls within a restricted timeframe as defined by service level agreement and providing second/third level support.
Regular backups of databases and files as per schedule defined by the service level agreement with the customer.
Vendor Management:Coordination with different vendors for resolution of Hardware related calls till the end and escalations following service level agreement escalation matrix.
Maintenance of ISO documents of the site and their regular updations and analysis to increase productivity identifying root cause of faults.Also responsible for analysing the trend to foresee future problems.
Complete responsibility of IT related issues of the client by providing valuable inputs regarding upgradation,updation,process management,change management,foresee problems and resolve it from its root to prevent any disaster and maintain continuos uptime.
Develop,maintain and test disaster recovery plans for customer.
Complete ownership of assigned projects like mass installations,configurations etc. from beginning to completion with full responsibility in a highly secure environment using excellent time management to organize the different tasks and completing them within scheduled time.
Regular reviews and discussions with customer regarding their issues,concerns and feedbacks and implementing innovative methods for continuous improvement of service delivery.
